Background in materials science, with a focus on synthesizing and analyzing capacitive laminates, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in engineering and technology. Friedrich is working as Head of Knowledge Transfer at the Institute of Technology, University of Tartu, Estonia. Bridging research and practical applications, particularly in the fields of materials science and technology.

Dedicated and results-driven professional, currently serving as the business incubator manager at Sparkup Incubator, an venture housed within Tartu Science Park. Ana Arroyo is currently project manager at Tecnalia in Policy for innovation and Technology Unit. She's MSc Computer Science Engineer by Computer Science Faculty at Deusto University (Bilbao, Spain). Specialist qualification in Team entrepreneurship coaching by Tiimiakatemia (Finland). A broad experience in digital transformation consultancy projects and team coach and innovation trainer. She’s accredited by Belbin Methodology Team roles since 2013.

PhD in materials science, a background of 15 years in university research and academia collaboration, R&D funding, physical tech innovation, intellectual property management, production scale-up, and physical product development.
Liina Joller-Vahter

Liina is a serial entrepreneur, passionate about biotech, cleantech, medtech, healthtech, foodtech, and similar. She holds a Ph.D in Economics, and at the University of Tartu is a lecturer of innovation management. In the startup community, she often finds herself ’translating’ between science and business people. She is also an angel investor and a member of the Estonian umbrella organization EstBAN.

Strategic innovator with long management experience. I can offer support in setting goals, finding a strategic focus, and considering cooperation opportunities. I have participated in the development of honoured support services for companies, as an evaluator of innovation projects in committees.

Research Associate and deputy to the head of Entrepreneurship Hub. Prior to his employment at TU Braunschweig and Ostfalia University, he received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. industrial engineering focusing on mechanical engineering from TU Braunschweig. He then worked as Researcher at UC Berkeley’s Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology before starting a PhD in Engineering for Sustainability.
